Hidden Ireland Tour
This is a tour of The West of Ireland, the province of Connaught.
Grass is scarce in this province, especially in Connemara (Hidden Ireland). It is a very rugged and mountainous part of the country, and though it might inconvenience the local farming community, it is a godsend for the visitor, as the views are breathtaking.
Oliver Cromwell invaded Ireland back in 1649 and tried to instil the Protestant faith. It is said if you resisted you were given a choice of going to hell or going to Connaught, but believe me Connaught is as close as you'll get to Heaven. Over 40,000 people still speak the Mother Tongue (Gaelic) here.
